"I felt helpless": Calgary woman left to miscarry in crowded ER waiting room

That is just... Despicable. Infuriating. Totally unacceptable.

The nursing staff who were on duty that night should be fired - absolutely.

I dunno, even lowly peons should have the common sense to know that a pregnant woman sitting in a pool of blood constitutes a definite emergency. They might have gotten in trouble for it, yes, but they definitely had the OPTION of running for help, going to a higher authority, calling a supervisor - SOMETHING, anything!

And yet they did nothing. So yes, it is definitely partially the responsibility of the idiots who left the hospital so understaffed. But the people who were on the scene, who were witnessing what was happening - they (in my opinion) are the most culpable.

Hmmm. Is that one of those rare reviews where the review is better then the actual book? :P

Or did you just direct me there for the picture...?
